The LSPU Cosplay Fest 2022 was a new, yet and much-awaited event in the university. Hosted by the College of Computer Studies' Computer Club on December 10th, 2022, it was yet another push for the cosplay community and con-goers of San Pablo City, both for cosplayers within and outside of the Laguna State Polytechnic University.
"A place to let loose" and "one for the books" are some of the many phrases that best describe events like these, especially a Cosplay Festival of this scale in the university. Held at the university gym, the event had stalls, seats, and huge open spaces for cosplayers and con-goers to gather and take photos and highlights to bring home.

Though the gates were opened to cosplayers and con-goers at 11AM, it did not take long for the activity to become very lively with the presence of hundreds of LSPU students and outsiders that wanted to enjoy the event.
Many characters could be seen at the event, including Genshin Impact characters like Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Scaramouche, and Capitano. There were also other characters like Rem from RE: Zero, Yashiro Nene from Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, the Red Ranger, Iron Patriot, Loid Forger, Sniper Mask, Nijisanji's Vox Akuma and Mysta Rias, Darth Vader, The Mandalorian, and many more.

It was not too long after 3PM that the main competition of the cosplay event finally took place. Many of the cosplayers vied to get the cash prizes, and in the end, four cosplayers each took home a prize of their own. The winners of the event are as follows;
1st Place | Iron Pariot (Marvel)
2nd Place | Eula Lawrence (Genshin Impact)
3rd Place | Denji / Chainsaw Man (Chainsaw Man)
